Minimum Job Requirements:
1. Be a legal US
citizen 2. Possess a valid Oregon drivers license
with an upgrade to CDL 3. Be 21 years of age,
or older 4. Possess a GED or high school diploma

Physical Assessment &
Drug Screen:
A physical
assessment and drug screen is scheduled by management prior
to employment.
Labor
Affiliation:
These
positions are covered under the provisions of an agreement with
Teamster Union, Local 305. Regular employees in this position are
required to pay union dues.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
Our Roll-off Drivers are
responsible for the hauling of waste
debris from large, high volume construction
customers, as well as from
residential and other commercial customers.
The driver is responsible
for performing assigned duties on roll-off
delivery and hauling routes. This physically strenuous position
involves mounting and dismounting a heavy-duty truck
many times
each day. In addition, the position involves lifting (up to 50 - 75
pounds), pushing, pulling, and
bending.
Our drivers
must have safe driving records and the
ability to communicate professionally
with customers, dispatch, and our customer service department.
Our drivers also must accurately complete logs, reports and
vehicle inspections daily. They must
comply with all local, state,
and federal transportation regulations and with
all company policies and proceedures.
FMCSR'S
Our Roll-off drivers
are also subject to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations which apply to
a
commercial motor vehicle that is self-propelled or
a towed motor
vehicle used on a highway in interstate commerce to transport
passengers or property when the vehicle: (1) has a gross vehicle
weight rating (GVWR) or gross combination weight rating (GCWR)—or a
gross vehicle weight (GVW) or gross combination weight (GCW)—of
4,536 kilograms (10,001 pounds) or more, whichever is greater; or
(2) is designed or used to transport more than 8 passengers,
including the driver, for compensation; or (3) is designed or used
to transport more than 15 passengers, including the driver, whether
or not it is used to transport passengers for compensation; or (4)
is used in transporting material found by the Secretary of
Transportation to be hazardous under 49 U.S.C. 5103 and transported
in a quantity requiring placarding under regulations prescribed by
the Secretary under 49 CFR, Subtitle B, Chapter I, Subchapter C.
